Lai's Lodges carries a story that is as rich as the land it sits on. Originally established in 2020 as Lai's Villas, the property was named in honor of Pak Lai, the great-grandfather of Lai's Villas founders — a beautiful tribute to his enduring legacy of humility, strength, and love for Bali. For four years, the founders dedicated their hearts to sharing the true beauty of Ubud, but the journey was challenging, and Lai’s faced hurdles that led to its temporary closure.

Yet, from every ending comes a new beginning. In 2025, with the blessing of Pak Lai’s family and inspired by a friendship forged with the team behind Zen Soul Bali, Lai’s was reborn as Lai’s Lodges — a renewed sanctuary that blends Bali’s resilient spirit with modern comfort.
